He exhibited principally with the Belfast Art Society and later at the RUA of which he was an academician. Between the years 1924-1951 he showed a total of seventy works at the RHA. He also submitted a number of pictures to the Fine Art Society in London. He was a friend of Frank McKelvey (q.v.) and Maurice MacGonigal.
