Meath and, with her sister Letitia, studied under William Orpen at the Metropolitan School of Art in Dublin. She went on to study at the Slade School of Fine Art and later specialised in portraiture, finding most success in her depictions of children. When portrait commissions dried up she turned to landscapes, particularly Irish scenes, of both domestic and outdoor activity. She exhibited regularly, including at the Irish Inte rnational Exhibition in 1907, the Irish Exhibition of Living Art in 1945 and the Royal Hibernian Academy between 1904 and 1945. Her works are in the collections of the Ulster Museum and the Crawford Municipal Gallery, Cork.
